Allman Betts Band, Books, Concerts, fellow creatives, Harlot's grace, My Dog, Suspense

Creative Superabundance!

Greetings People!

I am still on a bit of a high between the launch of Harlot’s grace at Central Authors on Wednesday and an Allman Betts Band concert yesterday.

In my world, this would be referred to as a perfect week!

Between the two, my creative juices have been flowing. On very little sleep and a slight dancing hangover, I managed to write over 1,000 words on Harlot’s Fall (I am at the exciting part!), edit a few photos (posted on my Instagram account) and spend a little quality time with Jessie the dog (and for those who are not in the know, the dog runs the house).

In this quiet moment I am thinking about how music plays such an important part in my creative process. There is something about the energy absorbed at a live show that sparks plot points and scenes within whatever story I am trying to create. Since I started taking photos, my imagination has been in overdrive.

I thank all those who play, who create, and who support. And am going back to work because we never know when the buzz will end.

Peace All.
